Probably over the hype of the whole peranakan craze and the newly established peranakan museum. Channel 8 is now showing a new drama about the ways of the peranakan.
小娘惹 aka. The Little Nonya is a period production which starts from the 1930 that spans over 70 years till modern day. Leads for this production includes Jeanette Aw, Qi Yiwu, Dai Yang Tian, Joanne Peh, Apple Hong etc. The start-studded cast assure this production to be one would set people talking.
Nikko plays a role as a victim who got abducted along with Jeanette Aw and runs away with her as seen in episode 4. The show starts airs from Nov 25, 2008, Mon – Fri at 9pm on Channel 8.
