In order to gain a deeper understand to the different aspect of theatre, Nikko worked as a wardrobe assistant for the Sesame Street live - When Elmo Grows up show that ran from the 10th to 12th of September 2010.
For this show, the audience (mainly adorable kids) joined Elmo, Zoe, Rosita and all of their furry and feathered friends in answering, 'What do you want to be when you grow up?' as they go about preparing for a pageant on Sesame Street. The kids sing cowboy songs, ride the rails and more had loads of fun participating in the Sesame Street Live "When Elmo Grows Up." show.
Nikko was a part of the audience who caught one of the Sesame Street productions in her childhood and was awestruck. She was curious to know how the muppets could move their mouths to sing, dance on stage with no strings attached or if there was anyone dressing up as the mascot. She finally learnt the secrets of the trade while working as a stagehand. She also got the opportunity to take a picture with her favourite character, Ernie.
