Nikko now spends her time reading up on the different acting and auditioning techniques, working on new monologues, auditioning and sourcing for work as she continues attending workshops.
On 3rd October 2010, Nikko attended an open rehearsal to learn more about Playback Theatre and what it has to offer.
Playback Theatre is a unique form of improvisational theatre that engages people to share their stories or moments from their lives, and gives them an opportunity to see their stories recreated immediately on stage. It combines the oral traditions of storytelling, the use of rituals, deep listening skills and various performing styles. Nikko found it fun and very engaging and she hope to upload some shots of what went on during the session. How Nikko morphed from a grossed out plumber to a magician's bunny rabbit to a zonky alien.
