The second short film that Nikko was involved in during November was shot by a UK director, Naveen Varma as part of his student project. He firmly believes in the important message behind the film and has plans to put it on the film festival circuit and submit it in for competitions, starting with the Singapore Film Festival.
The short film that this girl was involved in aims to show a tasteful, realistic and compelling conflict between family ideals and sexuality in modern-day Singapore. Nikko took on the lead role as Amanda, a typical 18 year old college student who is worried how her parents will react to her confession that she is in love with another girl, Tara.
