SHORT FILMS - ARCADE FIRE

Nikko is always up for the challenge and continues to take up roles that are a little out of her comfort zone. Just to push the boundaries and test out her acting chops, she took on a ah-lian-cum-kawaii-pop-princess role in a film by NTU, Arcade Fire.

The storyline of Arcade Fire is about a newly wedded bride battles her inner fears on the night of the wedding dinner. The catch is that she must triumph furious flowergirls, angry altar boys, horrid HDB men, foul family members and bloodthirsty bridesmaids before she can battle the enigmatic Final Boss. Helping her on this whirlwind quest is a secret character who might be more foe than friend.





Nikko's character is the Final Boss, the Admin and as they say, pictures speak a thousand words. The imaging of the character was inspired by the cutesy cake shop, Icing Room. Asked if she'll ever doll up as such, and the reaction is NEVER AGAIN. The filming and being the character was a blast though.
