Getting involved in more real-life simulation exercises, Nikko was roped in to perform as part of a role-playing assessment for a pharmaceutical company. The objective of the exercise is to create a situation to allow the observer assess how well the manager is able to handle a meeting with an unhappy subordinate. This simulation exercise was held at Changi Village Hotel on the 30th of March 2011.
Similar to the NUS DUKE medical simulation, this involvement's focus was more on person-to-person relations. It brings to light situations that are relevant in the working world about the working man's frustrations at work. Nikko was given 5 issues that she was unhappy about at work and she had to relay them to a new manager who has only been on the job for two weeks seeking to understand her plight.
Apologies once again but Nikko did not take any photographs of the simulation exercise.
