The Young Co. is a two-year educational platform for 17 to 25 year-olds, and Singapore Repertory Theatre’s (SRT) investment in future stage talent. It is Asia’s premiere part-time dedicated programme for young people attached to a repertory theatre. Twenty young people are selected from open auditions to form the core of the company and receive practical training in all aspects of theatre.
Nikko was a recipient of the Exxon Mobil SRT Young Co. scholarship for the year 2007 to 2009. She was privileged to participate in workshops with stage veterans such as director Sam Mendes, local actress Jo Tan, actor Ethan hawke and more.
