The Singapore Arts Festival (SAF) began in 1977 as a national showcase celebrating the local arts of Singapore’s diverse communities. This year's arts festival is especially special as it aims for the audience to reconnect with their memories, histories and places long forgotten. Told through sights and sounds, I Want to Remember engages in a past that redefines the way we look at the present even as we race toward the future.
Rediffusion used to present radio plays and ghost stories entering the audiences through the airwaves carrying on the proud tradition of storytelling. For example, In the 1950s and 60s, many Singaporeans sat mesmerized by their radio sets, listening to the legendary Lei Dai Sor.
As a Rediffusion broadcast presenter, Nikko will be sharing the story of 'Hong Ti Mei' and 'Have You Seen My Papa!' on the spooky Friday the 13th and 15th May Sunday if you want to be spooked out!
